In reply to Alice A..

Thanks for your comments and question Alice. I am quite sure that you are already doing a good job in your company, and your boss should be very proud of you.

Personally, I would say that if you are comfortable with phone contacts, then go for it. To tell you the truth, it is something that I will not do myself because I am ru**ish on the phone, but if you feel confident, go for it.

As for text messaging, although many people prefer that because they don't like to be disturbed for any reason, I guess that it is a good way to go about keeping in touch, but really not so personal as voice calling (my point of view).

Perhaps, you could consider testing both and see the response you receive. 🤔

I wish you the very best in your job Alice.

Take care,

John 😃

Very informative article; thank you for posting.

Indeed, business owners need to communicate with customers to maintain a good relationship. Competition is very tight, thus, it is important to build trust between business owners and their customers.

I am a Filipino working as a VA in the customer care department for a US company for almost a year now. My job is to mainly reach out to customers and keep in touch with them. I send them emails regularly and also utilize social media to connect with both old and new (potential) customers.

My clients want me to expand my communication with them and I am considering either voice calling or text messaging. If I have to use only one of these, which do you recommend is better?
