I’m glad that you have some experience with both WordPress and Wix web design templates Harry, and thanks for taking the time to share your experience with them.

I did have a go at Wix and I must say, it is very impressive but personally I don’t really like the kind of too easy to use programs. Like you, I prefer to learn enough in order to remain in control of things.

Wix might be great for people who like the easy way of doing things, but as you say, once you have taken the time to learn how WordPress works you will definitely find it more customizable to your taste.

Thanks for being a regular reader of my articles Abayomi. Your comments on my blog posts are very useful to my readers and myself because of your great experience with Internet marketing.

Although Wix is very tempting, I am so used to working with WordPress that I wouldn’t change just for the 500 free templates. As they say: “Better the devil you know than the devil you don’t.”. There are always some pros and cons on each side.

I look forward to seeing you here again soon Abayomi as I have a regular supply of very interesting blog posts.

To tell you the truth, I never really liked it. I mean yeah, it’s much more drag and drop than WordPress but if you bother to learn how WordPress works for like a month or so, it’s customization options and overall potential are so much greater.

After all, the fact that the majority of all existing websites use WordPress is not just a random occurrence.

I vote WordPress over Wix!

Though to be honest, being a rookie has many disadvantages. I have never heard of wix before but it surely seems to me through this article that it’s a very powerful web designing platform with its multiple website templates being offered for free. To me, that is huge. However, I hosted my website through Wealthy Affiliate and the only option available for template is through WordPress. Seriously, I haven’t encountered any form of problems with it. As much as this wix poses a reason for doubts on WordPress, I’d still go for WordPress every time. Thanks
