Thanks for this most useful article. I had no idea when it comes to optimizing content for Google and this blog post is the firs that I’ve seen that helps me with this super important part of my writing process and not just recommendations concerning grammar. Thanks for sharing your views on the Gutenberg editor for WordPress Martin. I changed over to Gutenberg the minute it became available. Although I regretted having jumped into it so quickly as I read all the negative reports about it. But as you say, people don't like changes, but once they get used to it they appreciate the progress.

To tell you the truth, as you are also mentioning it, when I go back to my older blog posts to make some updates, I find it very difficult to do so as these older articles remain in the Classic editor version, and I can't believe I could work with it then. It's no big deal as in a couple of clicks, I can transform them into Gutenberg editor and can see how much easier it is to work with.

Be aware Martin, that one day or the other you will not have the choice between Classic and Gutenberg, so perhaps it would be a good idea that you gently dive into it now.

I am not a fan of the Gutenberg editor within WordPress I much prefer to use the classic editor and then use Thrive Architect if I want to build more professional pages and elements within posts. I don't think I was alone with this as most people I have spoken with prefer the classic. But, I presume like anything new we are sometimes quick to judge when if you use it over a period of time it becomes easier and we then wonder how we ever managed without it. :)
