Some people say that this was the biggest problem the previous President had! He didn’t want to delegate. He wanted to control everything. Was this because he didn’t trust those people working for him? Was it because of his enlarged ego and not wanting to let others take credit?I know President Truman’s favourite saying was “the Buck stops here” but success comes from delegation to get the input from a lot of very smart people who work for you. Mahatma Ghandi didn’t lead India to Independence by keeping all power to himself. He delegated authority to all those who believed in the same thing he did. My background is in law and my experience has been that delegating tasks to secretaries and paralegals is good for handling any work. It worked as one of my secretaries is now completing her law degree.
I agree with you 💯%. One cannot do everything, even if they wanted to. I’m reminded of something Henry Ford once said: “I don’t know how to do everything, but I know someone who does!”. This always stuck in my memory and helped me a lot all through my years of Internet marketing.
